Make sure every stream is matched, every split is right, and every artist gets paid the correct amount on time.
This is the job that decides whether artists trust us. You will process distributor statements, match lines to tracks by ISRC, apply splits, generate artist statements, and chase what doesn't reconcile.
You will also handle the publishing side — registering works, keeping splits and ISWCs accurate, and making sure compositions are collecting alongside the recordings. Most independent catalogues leak money here, and it is almost always a data problem rather than a legal one.
You will not be doing this in a spreadsheet. We built our own system for it. You will be one of the people who tells us where that system is wrong.
What we are looking for
- Genuinely comfortable with detail — this role is unforgiving of approximation
- Strong spreadsheet skills; comfortable with a few hundred thousand rows
- Some exposure to music royalties, publishing administration, or rights admin
- Able to explain a statement to an artist without jargon
Nice to have: familiarity with ISRC/ISWC/UPC, DDEX, PROs, or SoundExchange.
We will train the music specifics for someone with the right temperament. We cannot train the temperament.
